Summer Reading Fun

My friend Lola Nova just posted on her blog about her great Summer Reads. I thought it was a wonderful idea and so i thought i would post mine too!

For obvious reasons i started reading this book by Jill Bolte Taylor, about her experience with a brain hemorrhage. Very interesting....

And i am loving this great book by Rosemary Gladstar, on how to make your own flower and herbal salves, tinctures, syrups, massage oils and skin creams, teas...you name it! I highly recommend it...

On my Kindle, i am getting ready to read:

(i absolutely loved this movie)

Can't get enough of this stuff

With a stack of books like this, i'll be busy for quite a while...

That looks like some very interesting and varied reading. You will enjoy yourself with those. The one about making teas and tinctures looks good!

Lynne, i know you have mentioned before that you would like to learn about making tinctures and flower essences. This would be an excellent book to start out with. She makes skin creams, salves, teas, tinctures, cough syrups, etc...All with fairly common herbs and materials that can be found everywhere. I highly recommend Rosemary Gladstar. She is an awesome teacher...
