Indoor Harvest

Even tho some of my Tropical Bonsai never leave the windowsill , they still know when the seasons change....

Here is my little Fukien Tea tree... Can you see the little red fruit on the branch?


The little white buds you can see below the fruit will open in a few days to reveal tiny white flowers....

That's amazing. It never crossed my mind - Of course they know what season it is. I guess that's a little weird too, it being cared for in a contained environment. Ah well, it knows somehow!

It is amazing ins't it? I think houseplants go by light. They are "photo-sensative" and when the light changes in quality and length, they respond! I used to have a small Green Island Fig tree and it would produce tiny little figs. Amazing...
