First dog sweater....

Well i finished my first knitted dog sweater last night
It's a little big on Pollyanna, but i am sure she will grow into it

(IF she grows that much...Time will tell)

This is the first dog sweater i have ever made, so now that it is finished, i can see how i would make a few changes to make it work better for me and for the dogs. Polly seems to like it tho and was in no rush to take it off. It is SO cold out there today i am sure she welcomes the extra layer!

Even with the sweater on tho, as soon as the dogs come in from the yard, they make a bee line for the stove

snug as a bug in a rug....er....a sweater....

Neat pup sweater! I've thought about finding a pattern to make one often, That looks suspiciously like my favorite thick-and-quick brand yarn!

Morning CM! Go here for this pattern: http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/60539.html?noImages=
There are instrudctions for small, medium and large sized dogs. You can't get any easier than this! And yes, it is the Wool-ease Thick and Quick! It makes up so fast, you'll be done in a blink of an eye...

Thanks Melissa! Maybe someday, with a LOT of practice, i will make one as special as Emmitt's new sweater! For now it is enough it helps to keep her warm...Now one each for the other two pups! :)

Olive turned two today, and she happened to mention that she'd like a lovely pink or red sweater this year...hint hint. Judging by her massive muscular body which is currently strewn across my lap, I think she'll need a size "moose". Do they make patterns for that size?
