Tthis morning i got out the big bag of apples Katie gave me from her trees and chopped them up, skins and all, and put them into my big old crock pot.
i added some natural sugar, some cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg, gave it all a good stir and turned the pot on high. In a few hours i took my immersion blender out, gave it a spin and the applesauce was delicious!
The other kind of apple we had here today was a little Apple Dumpling named Zoey! Here she is wearing one of my crocheted apple dumpling hats. Look at those little apple cheeks!
