W.I.P it up

Now that i have had a week or so to recover from all the hats, scarves, cowls and toys i made for the wonderful shops in downtown Troy, i am ready to get back to work. I have orders for teddy bear beanies of every color in the crayon box, as well as a few Jelly Bean bunnies and piggies.
And since i went thru tons of yarn these past few months, i thought i would use up some of the small balls of yarn leftovers in a baby blanket of many colors!
there is even a dolly blanket in the works for a special girl i know...
and more hats for all those cold little heads out there. I love making things that are useful to others, and it amazes me when folks like my work enough to actually buy it with their hard earned money! I'll be sure to post pictures of the finished projects. What are YOU working on???

Oh, that rainbow blanket is beautiful!
I have just pulled the back out of a sweater I am knitting because it was too small, the one I'm knitting now looks too big??
I am one step from prozac, lol.

Oh, Mare- you are such a wonderful knitter!! I wish we lived closer so you could teach me...
I have been busy in my sewing room today, but unfortunately not sewing... I had to do a major clean-up and organizing before I could sew the first stitch.
*Sigh* Maybe tomorrow I'll get to sew...

Hi Paula, unfortunately i know all about the messy studio space issue. I do most of my work at the kitchen table because my studio is so FULL of materials and equipment that i have no room to work in it. So i not only have to sort that room out, but the basement space too. I have so many things going on that my studio is not big enough to hold all my supplies. Thank goodness i have more usable space in the basement. The cleanup and sorting will be Hell, but it's gotta be done....
