Annie's Easter Bunny

I made this little crocheted Amigurumi bunny for my sister in law, Annie. Annie has Alzheimer's Disease, is non verbal and gets around in a wheelchair now. My brother was trying to think of what to get her for Easter, when i told him i would make her a doll.
I think she will like this little bunny as it has baby like features and has no pieces that can come off and cause her harm. As for me, i'm not sure about this amigurumi stuff...I need to either use thicker yarn, or a smaller crochet hook, as the spaces between my crochet stitches are too big. I got this sweet, simple pattern for free on the Lion Brand Yarn website. There are TONS of free knit and crochet pattern there for you to check out.

Well, the bunny is adorable, but the first thing I notice is ... I sound like a broken record ... how much I like your sense of color. Sweet little bunn! I bet those would go like mad in the store.

Thanks everybody! The little animals are super easy to make. I just need some practice to get better at my tension...PengPeng i am surprised you don't knit or crochet already! You would love it. It is very meditative and therapeutic.
Hey CM! I'm wondering if i should call you SP now! :)Thanks for your support my friends...

Oh my goodness- that is such a sweet bunny, Mare! I LOVE it's long ears! So sweet!
And very sweet of you to make that for Annie. That is such a devastating disease.. I went through it with my Grandmother and it is so sad to watch them retreat to that closed away place forever..
