We knew it was coming! But so far, every snow storm that has come thru here has just missed us...until this one. I woke up this morning and it was still pretty dark out. I went to the front door and found this....
Here is a close up of the fairies and mermaids she has loved since she was a baby. I love those chubby little figures!
and the little ceramic Christmas tree was lit...the one that belonged to my Grandmother Mary. And the three little angels standing over the baby Jesus live on the altar year round.
Our little Christmas tree is a tiny one, but covered with special ornaments either given or made just for us.

Oh my, you really got covered! It looks so pretty and cozy inside your house, very inviting. I hope that you enjoy the winter wonderland!
Hi Mare, Was glad to see your pics on your Blog, They did not show on Face Book...They are beautiful, reminds me of when we were little. Funny how we handled snow then, and how content people are inside, as we get older.. Love Lola's Fairy Tree..Grams tree is a memory that was lost for me, Thanks, I love you and will talk for the New Year.
Hi Lola Nova! We had a total of 14.5 inches when it was all done! Today it started to melt already!
Hi Nance...I am VERY content to stay indoors now when it is so cold and snowy. I love to look at it tho. And i plan to get a sled or toboggan to pull Lola thru the snow. That will be fun! I love you too...
How gorgeous that little tree looks.
We heard on the news that you were getting snow really bad over there now. Thankfully, it's melting here, hope it clears up for you soon.

Oh- it's such a beautiful snow, Mare!! But it looks so c-c-cold!! We didn't get near that much...
Hope you're thawing out by now, dear friend!
(By the way- I LOVE Lola's fairy tree!! *squeal*)
Hi Lynne and Paula! Yes, it IS warmer here now! 36 degrees at present and that deep snow is melting little by little. I hope you are warmer too!
You took me on a walk down memory lane. The snowstorm, nativity, and ceramic tree made by grandma!
Happy holidays Mare!
