Cookie the Gingerbread Man!

I have been trying my hand at Amigurumi, and am not very good at it yet. But i guess, as with all things, the more you try and the longer you work at it, the better you get! I hope to someday be as good as my friend Jess at Teddybearswednesday. She is my inspiration with this art form. Check out her crocheted, and fully jointed mohair artisan bears, as well as her other little amigurumi critters. I am the proud owner of a few of her bears and i just love them. Anyway, i will keep trying! I already have another gingerbread girl on the hook we will call "Ginger" and a little blue monkey started too! Hopefully the little gingerbread folk will be sitting on the shelf at The Paper Sparrow in time for The Victorian Stroll this Sunday in historic Downtown Troy, NY! And maybe, just maybe there will be one left over to put in my Etsy shop that i am hoping to open up this weekend too! I am so busy getting ready for the Holidays, and happy to be that way, doing the things i love to do!

I love him, he's wonderful! I can't wait to see the monkey. I am ever so slowly working on my crochet skills, still going in circles. So excited about your shop!

Oh, I wanted to mention that Michelle from http://theroyalsisters.blogspot.com/
has started a Flickr group for people who have made her stars pattern. You should upload your photos to it, yours stars are great!
