Two Good Friends

Pollyanna and Gipetto sitting in the sun. Geeps got his haircut yesterday and it seems to have given him a bit of a lift! He'll be 17 in June, but still tries to mount Pollyanna and sometimes Rubie too! He is an equal opportunity humper!

All Tuckered Out

Right after we returned from Little Honey's first visit to our Veterinarian Dr. White, she ran right over to her bed and fell fast asleep.

She slept so long and was so still that Pollyanna slipped into bed with her just to make sure everything was alright.

She had to get 2 shots and had her hernia and her sore back leg checked. It was a lot of hard work!

She woke up to eat her dinner and then went in to the office and climbed into the bed in there and was joined by her brother, Ruben... Look how much bigger he is next to her! Can you believe they are litter mates!?! Little Honey will be spayed, have her hernia repaired and her back leg
exrayed on Thursday morning. We will all be a bit nervous about all this and would appreciate your thoughts and prayers. Thanks my friends...

Pollyanna in the Morning Dew

It's been such a rainy Summer so far....

and when it is sunny, the nights have been cool, so lots of moisture forms on the leaves in the dog's yard. Actually, the dogs and i have been enjoying the weather this Summer.

Polly loves to run under the morning glories and thru the lilies and always comes in the house a little muddy and a little damp, but very happy...

Look what i found in my knitting bag...

I was knitting away last night, watching the results of the Presidential Election. Anyone who reads my blog knows that when i sit on the couch for the evening, all three dogs and sometimes the cat, sit with me. But i was so nervous last night i kept getting up and down out of my seat, and each time i would pick Pollyanna up and put her down on the floor, for fear she might fall off the couch and get hurt. When i returned one time to resume knitting, i found this.....

She was actually curled up, asleep when i first found her but i disturbed her with the flash. These dogs sure do have it tough around here!
