Hi Lynne and Melissa! I cut the big old ugly tomato up today and it was DELICIOUS! Not sure what variety it was as a certain little Jack Russell terrier(Rubie) went around pulling the tags from the containers and chewing them up! And Lynne, i spent a few hours today gathering tomatoes and basil and chopping everything up and putting them in zip lock freezer bags and freezing them for later in the year. There is nothing more delicious that adding a bag of home grown tomatoes and basil to canned tomatoes for sauce in the Winter. Yum!
Mare- that's no tomato- that's a freak of nature! *LOL* I had very few tomatoes make it this year- and the ones that did, the chickens beat me to them! UGH

Oh and Melissa, thanks for the compliment on my blog! I used the new template option Blogger offers now. It's super easy-even I can do it! hahaha
