The end of a part of my life...Sounds so dramatic, doesn't it? But that is how i feel today, after hearing the news that my first ever Love, Davy Jones of the Monkees, passed away of a heart attack this morning. I cannot believe it. I wore those blue and white love beads until the strand broke from wear. I had that very same face plastered all over my bedroom walls in my childhood home. Again it reminds me, nothing lasts forever. Everything changes and everything that is born eventually ceases to be. But Davy??? This 57 year old woman was just brought back to her teenage years emotionally, and i am responding to this news as if i was still a girl. Rest in Peace my favorite Daydream Believer...

Memories...

I was having a rough start to the day today, and my husband put this song on to cheer me up. It worked! This was my favorite band when i was a girl and i was desperately in love with Davy Jones back then(WAY back then!)

So while i was looking for this clip, i found this one. That was then, and this is now. And i still love those guys....
