From the Piles of Projects...a Winter Gnome

This little guy emerged from the pile of project possibilities i posted about last week.
He's a jolly little elf, made in the Waldorf style, all wrapped up in his scarf and his little red suit, ready to brave the cold.
 He's a portly little fellow
and he wears a jingle bell on the tip of his cap and another at the end of his scarf. He'll be waiting for his new home in my Etsy shop this week. This toy is baby safe if you remove the little bells, and maybe the scarf too, depending on your little one.Oh and one thing i have noticed...I've had to hide these little gnomes from the cats here. They are always trying to run off with one of them! Maybe they are trying to tell me that knitted gnomes make good cat toys too!

Very cute little gnome - he would also make a good santa to hang on the tree if you gave him a beard!
I see we have another one of our strange and wonderful coincidences - I think you are right, we are sisters! Can't wait to see your tuxedo cat, it's a great book isn't it.
Love, your sister Lynne :)

Hi Lynne, Yes i love the book! I started a cat, but then got sidetracked with Leprechauns and Easter bunnies! As soon as i have enough buns and elves in stock, i'm back to cat making! Will you put any kitties up for sale in your shop? IF mine come out ok, i'll do that too! Love, mare

I might put them up for sale but they take a ton of stuff like yarn, pellets, stuffing and then a good while to make so I would have to charge about £20. Whether anyone would pay that, I don't know.
They are fun to do though and the final face embroidery makes you smile!

You know Lynne, i'd put it into your shop, charge what you need to, and see what happens! That is, IF you can part with him. He is adorable!
