Early Fall on the path

 There are obvious signs of the changing of seasons on the bike path this week.

 Here the sumac berries are ripe and the leaves are a lovely red.

 there are clusters of wild asters all around

 sprays of goldenrod

 flowering bushes

 and sunflowers sprinkled here and there

 and signs of love all over the place! Lots of heart shaped leaves

 a heart shaped hole in a tree with tiny heart shaped leaves on a vine growing from that hole

 (here's more of that awesome mossy tree)

 and you may have to use your imagination here, but i found 2 heart shaped rocks on the path too...

i "heart" walking on the bike path!
