As a young girl, Frida was severely injured in a traffic accident that caused her crippling pain all the rest of her life. She never let this stop her.
I love her spirit. I was never a huge fan of some of her more intense work, but i understand it more now that i know where she was coming from. I love that even when she was flat on her back and not able to move, she kept going and kept creating. We all can learn so much from her example.
