This is what i saw when i walked by the cat tree yesterday...All three cats sharing one common space.
Here is a side view so that you can see Lucy (or her butt) on the top bunk, Rosie on the middle bunk and Hannah Pearl at the bottom. And that is just about right in the cat heirarchy here in the house. Lucy is the Queen, Rosie is the Princess, and Little Hannah is just breaking into the exclusive cat club. Rosie is starting to play with her quite a bit and shares treats with her, while Lucy is harder to win over. But little by little i see Lucy sniffing her and getting closer to her little body.
As for Hannah Pearl herself, she is a very happy little cat! She walks with her tail pointing straight up and over her head and loves everybody, human, dog, cat and bird alike. She fits into our menagerie just fine! She is a sweet little soul. Do think about adopting a new pet from your local animal shelter. For some reason the shelters are overflowing with cats, kittens, puppies and dogs this Summer. Our shelter even takes in bunnies, piggies and smaller critters like gerbils and mice. Adopt, donate, visit...There are many ways you can help...Updates to follow...

this is wonderful to see and very heartning to me Mare, as I've always wanted to get another cat, but fear Turtle McGurdles woudn't take well at all to this. Perhaps there's hope.
I totally agree with you about shelter, Turts comes from a shelter, and well quite frankly i think they love you just that bit more as they know, you saved them. xo
Jess i couldn't agree with you more. You can see it in the way they even look at you after you rescue them and take them into your home. Lucy, my black cat, is still not thrilled that there is a kitten here. She took 2 solid days of hissing and spitting when Rosie came, but they are good friends now. I think both cats can tell there is something "different" about Hannah Pearl. When i adopted her she had a "wandering eye" but i am feeling like it is more than that. Maybe a bit of brain damage..She is totally off balance and dizzy(much like myself!)especially as the day wears on and she gets tired. She and her sister were dropped in the Shelter parking lot in a box. Anyone who could do that to living beings would have no qualms about kicking a kitten. This is something i suspect...
I'm glad Hannah Pearl got a membership into the club! I like your cat tree, our cat would have loved that. I would love to adopt another one, we got Dylan Thomas from the RSPCA. Unfortunately my evil hubby says 3 dogs are enough - I say never!

Morning Lynne...We have a zoo here and it is all due to me. I think if it was up to Bill, we MIGHT have 1 dog, maybe 1 cat...But i think i have worn him down over time. When i found Hannah i told him about her and he said "do we need another cat?" I said no we don't NEED another one, but i do want this one..That was it. I never understood cats much before these kittens came to live here. I think i am more like a dog than a cat, so i used to think they didn't care much, and were not as loyal as dogs. Now i understand them so much better, and am fascinated with them. And they are SO much easier to train than dogs!
