So many folks have asked how i am doing
I have to say i'm doing alright. The stroke has brought about some necessary changes, and some of the changes are difficult. I still use a walker when i walk in the street. I still prefer silence to any noise at all. Reading small print is close to impossible. But i believe in time all this will correct itself.
I am incredibly grateful for this life i have. For the Family and Friends who hold me up when i need a hand. I know there is a reason i survived this and i want to find out what that is and get to work.
Thanks everybody....

You are looking absolutely great Mare! Adapting to situations is not always easy but if you go with the flow, as they say, things have a way of working out. I also hate noise and can't read small print (she says squinting at the computer screen) so we have something in common :)
That Lola is one heck of a photographer for her age!
Love Lynne x
Hi Lynne,
Thank you so much! I totally agree with you on going with the flow. I really don't know what else to do as i have absolutely no experience with stroke in my family or life. So it has been a kind of big adventure. Sometimes i get overwhelmed or sad, but for the most part, i can see the blessings in this too.
Lola is amazing at everything she does...She is 4 going on 34!
Beautiful Lady and my inspiration....I love you.
oh, Mare-- I haven't been by in a while, and I am so sorry to hear about your recent trials, including your stroke and the passing of your beloved Gipetto (I don't think I spelled that right; sorry!). I am glad to read that you're doing well since the stroke, and I absolutely believe we are all here for doing something specific-- bless you and your family, and continue to get your strength back!!
Thank you crimsoncat..it is so good to hear from you. Let's keep in (blog)touch! Love, mare
