Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars....

Little crocheted star ornaments made out of cotton yarn, stiffened with glue and water mixture, and sprinkled with stardust....i mean....glitter!

Thank you Leahdis for posting about these sweet little stars, and to
The Royal Sisters for the tutorial
(so many things to make...and so little time!...)

Ooh, I have been wanting to try this pattern. Yours look wonderful! Michelle from the royal sisters has just put up a tutorial on little trees that are similar and so sweet! I need to get making!

I ADORE those stars! They're really neat, and I remember them fondly from childhood and my Grandmother. Or something similar, at least. How nice they would look draped in the branches of a holiday tree here and there. You always are making the sweetest, warmest stuff!

YAY, so glad you made some too. They look great and how clever to stiffen them. Star dust is right, lol. Ive been making mini ones for the tree in crochet cotton. I may just have to use your method!
Thanks for the link too. Hugs Leah

Thanks Everybody! I love this sharing and blogging thing! It's just wonderful!!! And Leah, the recipe for the glue stiffener is half glue,(i used Elmers that i had here already and it worked fine) and half warm water. Soak the star in the sticky mix, pat out any extra glue, reshape with your fingers, lay flat to dry and sprinkle them with glitter...or not. I set them on wax paper on a cookie sheet, and once they were semi dry, moved them to newspaper. It took a full 24 hours for them to dry completely but the stiffener solution worked just fine! Hugs to you too!
