It's been such a rainy Summer so far....
and when it is sunny, the nights have been cool, so lots of moisture forms on the leaves in the dog's yard. Actually, the dogs and i have been enjoying the weather this Summer.
Polly loves to run under the morning glories and thru the lilies and always comes in the house a little muddy and a little damp, but very happy...

We had our first rain in over a month today (unusual fo us). When I let the ladies (chickens) out they didn't know quite what to make of the damp grass. My girl and I sang rain songs and looked for bugs, we came in the house a little muddy and a little damp, but very happy...
Good Morning my friend! Right now we are in the midst of a heat and humidity spell, so i miss my cool, muddy, damp days already!

About bugs...Please tell your little buddy that i found a woolybear caterpillar this morning and had to rescue her when the dogs found her too! She had a thinner brown band in the middle and longer black fuzzy ends. I know that means something about the length and severity of the upcoming Winter but i'm not sure exactly how that works out. I'll have to check that out....
