Are you familiar with Kiva? It is a fantastic worldwide loan program where you can make a huge difference in people's lives, just by "investing" as little as $25. And, after your loan has been repaid, you have the option of taking that money back for your own use, or reinvest it in another business somewhere else in the world. In this way, over time, i have(re) invested in many, many different businesses. I have been working with Kiva since early 2007, and cannot believe how wonderfully this program works. After participating for two full years in the program, i can say i speak from experience. Here is a video on a loan group from Nepal. Very interesting.....Please take the time to watch this little video. It is just one example of how your modest investment of $25, combined with other's investments, makes a huge difference that can change the world.

I have heard of this and I am so glad they are still doing it. It is one of the best ideas I have ever heard!
FYI: Come over to my page to check out the free diaper I am giving away.

Hi Melissa and Mama! Thanks for posting...Kiva had a great month last month, even tho the economy wasn't so great...I imagine a lot of folks just reinvest their returns on each initial investment. That's what i do, and it sure adds up!
I loved that video - so glad you posted it! I have been doing Kiva loans since August 2007. I've done 38 loans so far, but I hope to do lots more! I wonder if we have ever been on the same loan. I'm Claire on Kiva too!
Hi Claire! How come i'm not surprised you support Kiva too! ;) I am up over 150 businesses now,all with a little start up investment, and i just keep reinvesting over and over! It is amazing how it all adds up. I wish i could figure out how to send you a link to my page. Do you know how to do that?
I'm not sure Mare! Let me know if this works - it's my lender page.

If so, then just go to your lender page, preview mode, not edit mode, and then copy the link into a comment!
Hi Claire! It worked! Here is my lender address:
