Let's hope we don't have to deal with this again next Summer! Thanks for visiting my blog and posting!Marehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18313649899578244476noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4927353736830429704.post-6218951294341036992009-08-20T15:06:38.760-04:002009-08-20T15:06:38.760-04:00!!!! Thanks Jaz, and i will stop by and visit your blog too! Laura, i definitely think pesto is in my near future!;) Crimsoncat, i am SO far behind on everything with all that has happened these last few weeks, but hope to catch up and will be visiting you too! Lola Nova i guess no matter what we did this Summer, we were fighting an uphill battle, with the blight brought here on certain plants, plus no sun and too much rain. The weatherman said that this past July was the wettest July on record EVER! Sounds like the mold and mildew festival! Oh well, there is always next year, right?Marehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18313649899578244476noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4927353736830429704.post-74118152944736917812009-08-10T13:46:29.509-04:002009-08-10T13:46:29.509-04:00I'm just getting caught up on my blog reading....I'm just getting caught up on my blog reading... sorry about your tomatoes!! but glad that your husband is home and doing better!! enjoy the rest of your summer!!crimsoncat05https://www.blogger.com/profile/00857197135858767320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4927353736830429704.post-6342112686022034222009-08-09T07:24:38.186-04:002009-08-09T07:24:38.186-04:00just found you and ugh....i think that is happenin...just found you and ugh....i think that is happening to my tomatoes too. what a bad garden year i am having. i will be following you! check out my blog when you have time!jaz@octoberfarmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17249328159454897124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4927353736830429704.post-54526152814459717682009-08-08T21:58:50.758-04:002009-08-08T21:58:50.758-04:00What a shame!

We usually have more than we can manage but, this year we will be lucky if we get a few decent ones. Ah, well...all part of the cycle of life in the garden.

I hope that you can take a deep breath of that beautiful basil and think good thoughts.

Much loveLola Novahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14215529779296867987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4927353736830429704.post-44580490852931956802009-08-08T17:04:31.407-04:002009-08-08T17:04:31.407-04:00Strange! Chunky instead of oily, with a ton of garlic and some parmesan.

Tastes great on tomatoes! I hope the rest of them survive.

When life gets rough, the tough make pesto.Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16966104460376436386noreply@blogger.com
